ChargedUp is committed to operating a responsible, sustainable, and safe shared-infrastructure network. Charging stations are low-power devices averaging approximately 2.0 kWh per day; operational electricity is matched using UK Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs). End-of-life batteries and electronics are recycled via licensed UK partners in compliance with WEEE and battery regulations. All power banks and charging units comply with UKCA/CE safety standards, including IEC 62133-2 and UN 38.3 testing.
